En la cima

Una vez en la cima ya el recorrido era mas suave y placentero. Bien valió la pena el esfuerzo de hacer el ascenso para disfrutar de lo imponente de esta mezcla de cielo y tierra.



Ya no estabamos a reparo del viento fuerte, entonces había que abrigarse por lo helado del aire antes de continuar marcha hasta el refugio cerca al crater.

Once we reach the top our way was more enjoyable. It was a good prize to enjoy the amazing mix of earth and sky after a tough climbing. We were no more in the sheltered side of the mountain and the wind was very cold, so we had to get into our warm clothes before going close to the crater.

El recorrido de la cima no fue tan largo, solamente había darse el tiempo para disfrutar del paisaje.

The walking on top was not too long, just enough to have time to enjoy the landscape.


Por último, el refugio desde donde se puede apreciar el lago del crater. Ahí aprovechamos para sacarnos fotos, comer, hacer bromas y descansar antes de iniciar otra vez el descenso.
Hubiera estado lindo quedarse un buen tiempo arriba pero hacía bastante frío y era dificil manterse abrigado.

At last, the small hut, point of observation. From there it's possible to appreciate the crater lake. It was a good point to take some photos and of course to have a lunch and short rest. I thought it would be nice to spend more time up there but it was very cold and was difficult to maintain our bodies warm.
